Felix Sang Joins Continental Reinsurance as Head of Underwriting
Pan-African reinsurer Continental Reinsurance has announced the appointment of Felix Sang as the Head of Underwriting for the Eastern Africa Region, based in the firm’s Kenya office. Sang brings with him over 15 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, demonstrating a proven track record in underwriting, risk management, and reinsurance program structuring.
Throughout his career, he has honed his skills in treaty underwriting, corporate business development, and capacity-building across various markets in Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. A Continental Re spokesperson remarked, “Felix’s expertise aligns with our commitment to providing innovative and reliable risk solutions across Africa.”
Sang joins Continental Re from SanlamAllianz Reinsurance, where he served as Senior Treaty Underwriter | Anglophone & Indian Ocean Islands. He has also held significant leadership positions at Allianz Africa, Jubilee Insurance, and Britam Insurance, where he was instrumental in enhancing reinsurance portfolios and boosting underwriting profitability.
