AEGIS London Welcomes New Chief Risk and Compliance Officer
In an exciting development, Lloyd’s syndicate AEGIS London has announced the appointment of Charity Bare as their new Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. This strategic hire is part of AEGIS London’s ongoing commitment to maintaining its status as a top performer within the Lloyd’s market, while also ensuring robust risk management practices are upheld.
Charity Bare will lead a dedicated team of 16 professionals within AEGIS London’s Risk and Compliance division, which encompasses risk, exposure management, as well as compliance and regulatory functions. Her role will involve direct reporting to Alex Powell, CEO of AEGIS London, and she will play a pivotal part in the Executive Leadership Team.

Before joining AEGIS London, Bare held the position of Group Risk Director at Canopius Group Limited, where she honed her skills and leadership abilities.
