Farmers Insurance Names Erik Toohey as Head of Agency Owner Operations
Farmers Insurance has announced the appointment of Erik Toohey as the new Head of Agency Owner Operations, where he will report directly to Ken Walton, the President of Distribution and Chief Revenue Officer. In this pivotal role, Toohey will spearhead the strategic direction of the Exclusive Agent Distribution channel. His focus will be on modernizing processes and enhancing capabilities to support the achievement of immediate territory results.
Toohey’s responsibilities extend to collaborating with Regional Presidents to realize individual territory strategies through streamlined, centralized services. Prior to joining Farmers, Toohey was a Corporate Vice President at Gallagher, overseeing the strategic planning and financial management of a division worth $2.5 billion.
Throughout his career, Toohey has held prominent leadership roles with companies such as Kemper, Berkley One, Travelers, and Cigna. His expertise spans distribution management, financial oversight, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
