Giles Taylor Enhances Bridgehaven’s Leadership Team
Giles Taylor, who previously served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Lloyd’s, has now become an integral part of the leadership team at the UK-based hybrid insurer, Bridgehaven.
Taylor brings with him an extensive 25-year track record in the insurance industry, marked by his significant contributions to both the Lloyd’s and company markets. His career at Lloyd’s spanned 16 years, during which he assumed various senior roles in Risk and International Regulatory departments, with his most recent position being the CRO for the Corporation’s Brussels initiative. Prior to his tenure at Lloyd’s, Taylor honed his expertise over nine years at Ace (now known as Chubb), focusing on legal and compliance matters.

Since its inception in July 2023, Bridgehaven has witnessed remarkable growth, expanding from a small team of three to a dynamic workforce of twenty-three, marked by Taylor’s recent appointment. Currently, the hybrid insurer manages ten MGAs and handles £300 million in written binder premium.
