Lloyd’s Expands Investment Platform with New Enhanced Liquidity Funds
Lloyd’s, the global leader in the insurance and reinsurance marketplace, has expanded its Investment Platform by introducing two new Enhanced Liquidity Funds. These funds, available in Euros and British Pounds, complement the existing US Dollar fund. Designed specifically for long-term strategic cash holdings at Lloyd’s, these Enhanced Yield Liquidity funds aim to deliver superior returns while ensuring high liquidity and maintaining low Solvency II capital charge efficiencies.
This strategic move provides managing agents with access to a broader spectrum of key market currencies, enhancing the capabilities of treasury and investment teams across the managing agent community. Following a comprehensive due diligence and approval process, Insight Investment has been selected to manage these newly launched funds.
The Lloyd’s Investment Platform is crafted to offer the Lloyd’s market expanded access to a variety of investment opportunities and operational efficiencies through collective investing. It features a series of bespoke fund solutions managed by third-party experts, with increased uptake by managing agents to bolster their investment strategies.
