Juan Perez Joins AIG’s Board of Directors
American International Group (AIG), Inc., a renowned global insurer, has announced the election of Juan Perez to its Board of Directors as an Independent Director, effective immediately. Perez, who currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Salesforce, brings more than three decades of experience in spearheading strategic technology initiatives at Fortune 500 companies.
Perez is recognized as a leading technology executive with profound expertise in artificial intelligence, data strategy, and digital transformation. In his role at Salesforce, he oversees the global IT organization and data strategy, while also providing strategic advice on product development. Prior to his tenure at Salesforce, Perez held the position of CIO and Engineering Officer at UPS, where he was instrumental in advancing the company’s use of advanced analytics and implementing cutting-edge technologies such as AI.
In addition to his new role at AIG, Perez is currently a director at The Hershey Company and Wabtec Corporation. He also contributes to academia by serving on the advisory boards of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California and the School of Business at Georgia Tech.
