Apollo’s Strategic Appointment of Ciara Sheikh
Apollo, a renowned independent specialist in insurance and reinsurance, has proudly announced the appointment of Ciara Sheikh as the Interim Executive Underwriter for Cargo. This strategic move underscores Apollo’s commitment to bolstering its leadership team and enhancing its expertise in the cargo sector.
In addition to her responsibilities as a Hull Underwriter, Sheikh will spearhead Apollo’s Cargo division, collaborating closely with Richard Panter. Her dual role emphasizes the company’s trust in her capabilities and vision.
Sheikh’s journey with Apollo began in 2022 when she joined as a Hull Assistant Underwriter. Her exemplary performance and dedication led to her promotion as Marine Hull Underwriter in January 2023. Her prior experience includes a six-year tenure at MS Amlin, where she honed her skills in various roles, including Specie Assistant Underwriter and Hull & Yacht Assistant Underwriter.
