Gallagher Bassett Appoints Katie Lamb as General Counsel for EMEA
Gallagher Bassett, a leading provider of risk and claims management services, and a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has announced the appointment of Katie Lamb as the new General Counsel for its Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA) operations.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the insurance sector, Lamb transitions from her role at CNA Hardy, where she held various senior legal positions. Her legal career commenced at Clyde & Co, where she specialized in advising on M&A transactions and other corporate legal matters.
Throughout her career, Lamb has been instrumental in advising on a wide range of issues, leading legal, company secretarial, and compliance functions. Manan Sagar, the Chief Executive Officer for GB Europe, Middle East, and Asia, remarked, “Katie is a vital addition to our leadership team. She embodies our entrepreneurial spirit, and her extensive expertise will strengthen our legal function and compliance strategy as we plan to expand our global presence by 2025.”
