Ola Jacob Joins Global Parametrics to Enhance London Market Expansion
Global Parametrics, a company under the CelsiusPro Group umbrella, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ola Jacob as the Business Development Director for the London Market. Jacob is set to capitalize on his extensive experience, spanning over 13 years, to spearhead the growth of CelsiusPro Group’s parametric solutions across the London Market. His primary focus will be aiding both private and public sector clients in bolstering their climate resilience.
Prior to this role, Jacob was associated with Descartes Underwriting, where he played a pivotal role as the UK & Ireland Business Development Director for parametric solutions. His tenure at FloodFlash saw him rise quickly from an Account Executive to the position of Broker Success Manager, demonstrating his proficiency and commitment to advancing parametric insurance.
Jacob’s career also includes valuable stints as an Insurance Advisor at Tapoly and an Innovation Advisor at Lloyd’s, where he later became an integral part of the Management Board of Lloyd’s Community Programme. His professional journey also includes significant contributions at Arthur J. Gallagher International and a noteworthy tenure at Alesco Risk Management Services.
