Nationwide Insurance Appoints New Leader for E&S Brokerage Property Unit
Nationwide Insurance has announced the appointment of Tonya Courtney to spearhead its newly established Excess and Surplus (E&S) brokerage property division. Previously affiliated with Arch Insurance Co., Ms. Courtney will be reporting directly to David Nelson, the Executive Vice President of E&S Wholesale.
Based in Atlanta, Ms. Courtney joined Nationwide in December, stepping into the role of Senior Vice President of E&S Brokerage Property. Before her tenure at Nationwide, she was the Regional Vice President at Arch Insurance, where she successfully led the Southeast region’s E&S property team.
The freshly minted E&S brokerage property unit will focus on delivering customized non-admitted wholesale solutions and services, specifically designed for challenging property risks across diverse sectors, according to Nationwide.
The division is poised to commence operations in the latter half of the year, offering new opportunities for collaboration and growth in the industry.
