Appointment of Sylvie Gleises as Regional CEO of Asia at AXA XL Insurance
AXA XL Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvie Gleises as the new Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Asia, effective March 24, 2025. With her rich experience spanning two decades in the insurance sector, Gleises brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to her new role.
Gleises’ career with AXA Group began in 2006, and since then, she has held several prominent leadership positions. Her previous roles include CEO of Continental Europe & Global Head of Distribution & Marketing at AXA Art. Additionally, she has served as Head of Revenue Synergies and Head of Client Management at AXA XL. Most recently, she led as CEO of AXA XL Singapore Insurance.
Now, as the Regional CEO for Asia, Gleises will be based in Singapore, where she will steer AXA XL’s strategic initiatives and operational activities throughout the region. She takes over from Gilles Fromageot, who has been appointed as the CEO of AXA Morocco and CIMA.
In her new capacity, Gleises will continue her role as CEO for AXA XL Singapore Insurance operations, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in the company’s local market strategy.
