Aon PLC Announces Strategic Hires in Construction and Surety Divisions
Aon PLC has recently announced the recruitment of two seasoned professionals who bring a wealth of experience from Marsh LLC to bolster its construction insurance team.
Rob McDonough, based in New York, has been appointed as the CEO of Construction, Infrastructure, and Surety, North America. McDonough’s extensive experience includes serving as the U.S. construction industry leader at Marsh, a role he assumed in 2016 after dedicating 22 years to Aon.
In a parallel move, Brian Hodges, based in Washington, has been named the Head of Surety, North America at Aon. Prior to this, Hodges successfully led Marsh’s U.S. surety and subcontractor default insurance practice, following over 25 years of distinguished service at Zurich North America.
Both executives will report directly to Brian Wanat, who oversees commercial risk for North America at Aon. These strategic appointments underscore Aon’s commitment to enhancing its leadership team with industry experts.
