Swiss Re Announces Leadership Transition in Public Sector Solutions
Global reinsurer Swiss Re has unveiled a significant leadership change, appointing Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle as the new Head of Public Sector Solutions. This change will take effect on April 1, 2025, as she steps into the role vacated by Veronica Scotti.
Scotti is set to depart from Swiss Re after an illustrious career spanning over 25 years. During her tenure, she has occupied several pivotal leadership positions within the Group, including Managing Director, President & CEO for Canada and the English Caribbean, and most recently, she held the role of Chairperson of Public Sector Solutions since 2018.
Blattner-Hoyle joined Swiss Re in 2021, bringing her expertise as Global Head of Trade Finance, Trade Credit & Working Capital Solutions. Her career prior to Swiss Re includes a notable stint of over five years at AIG, where she held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Trade Finance. Additionally, she has experience as an International Banking and Finance Associate at Hogan Lovells.
