Julie Gigleux Joins Gallagher Re EMEA Team
Renowned reinsurance broker Gallagher Re is thrilled to announce the appointment of Julie Gigleux to its Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) team, where she will serve as a Senior Reinsurance Broker. Her role will involve working closely with the markets in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, alongside catering to the Large and Complex client segment across the broader EMEA region.

Before joining Gallagher Re, Gigleux held the position of Client Manager at Munich Re for over two years, a role she commenced after a six-year period at NewRe. Her journey at NewRe began in 2016 as an Assistant Casualty Underwriter, where she focused on UK Liability and the regions of Greece & Cyprus. She then advanced to become a Casualty Associate Underwriter before taking on the responsibilities of a Casualty Underwriter, managing portfolios for France, Benelux, Greece, and Cyprus.
In 2021, Gigleux was promoted to Senior Casualty Underwriter at NewRe, overseeing non-motor Liability accounts originating from the London Market. Before her tenure at NewRe, she also contributed her skills at 5ème Set as Head Of Communications and gained experience at La Banque Postale working as a Financial Advisor Assistant.
