Beazley Welcomes Lindsay Shipper as North America’s Head of Commercial Property
Leading specialty insurer, Beazley, has announced the appointment of Lindsay Shipper as the new Head of Commercial Property for North America, effective April 1, 2025. Shipper brings nearly two decades of extensive experience in the property market, enriched by her vast broker insights.
After dedicating 16 years to Marsh, where she climbed the ranks to hold several senior roles, including her most recent position as Managing Director and Southeast Zone Property Leader, Shipper is poised to leverage her expertise in her new role. She will be based in Atlanta, GA, reporting directly to Richard Montminy, the Group Head of Property Risks at Beazley.
Montminy highlighted the challenges faced by property owners across North America, driven by evolving climate risks and rising property values. He emphasized, “At Beazley, we have consistently demonstrated our deep understanding of the property market. We remain committed to investing in our capabilities to support brokers and clients in navigating these challenges. I am thrilled to welcome Lindsay to our team as we aim to achieve our growth ambitions.”
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Shipper remarked, “Beazley’s growth in the North American property market has been impressive. I am excited to join such a dynamic team and contribute to building on their successes, delivering the solutions that brokers and clients require.”
Beazley has earned a robust reputation in the specialty property market, especially within the US excess and surplus lines sector. Recently, the company has expanded its global property underwriting reach into the European market, marking a significant step in its strategic growth.
